IGP conducts Vehicles operation with INTERPOL experts
Chisinau, 5 May /MOLDPRES/- On 3-6 May, the General Inspectorate of Police, together with international experts of INTERPOL is carrying out Vehicles operation.
According to the IGP, the operation is part of an action plan that stems from the need to develop and improve the capacities and capabilities of national law enforcement authorities in terms of international practice, exchange of experiences and the adoption of best practices.
Operation Vehicles aims to combat crime at the national level related to vehicles, given the increased flow of people transiting the territory of the Republic of Moldova, which could facilitate the development of this type of crime.
In this case, the law enforcement officers, together with the experts of the Interpol specialized departments will carry out checks on the vehicles in several locations at national level.
The operation will allow both the recording of the expected results based on the proposed objectives and the opportunity to benefit from relevant recommendations to effectively address and successfully address the challenges of crime related to vehicles.
