More than 1,800 drivers infringe traffic regulations in Moldova on days off
Chisinau, 20 June /MOLDPRES/ - Over 1,800 drivers were sanctioned after they had infringed traffic regulations on the last days-off.
According to the General Police Inspectorate, 31 drivers were driving drunk, 880 drivers exceeded the speed limit and another 266 failed to observe the road signs and the ones of giving priority.
At the same time, 56 drivers did not give priority to pedestrians and 47 people got fines for crossing streets in banned places.
On the last days-off, patrol inspectors intervened in 138 cases, following calls received at the 112 single Service.
