
Salaries of over 10,000 social workers increase by 12 per cent in Moldova
Salaries of over 10,000 social workers from Moldova will increase by 12 per cent starting from July. Minister of Labor and Social Protection Alexei Buzu has made statements to this effect.
The increases will benefit community social workers, professional parental assistants, social workers and personal assistants.
“We have very good news for my colleagues in the field of social work. Starting from July, the government will increase salaries by 12 per cent for about 10,000 professionals in this field. We are talking especially about community social workers, professional parental assistants, social workers and personal assistants from all over the country. I thank for their daily work and dedication, for working every day, providing support and help to the most vulnerable in our families and communities,” said Minister Alexei Buzu.
The increases will be enforced as of July.
