Moldovan head of state congratulates the USA on Independence Day
President Maia Sandu has conveyed a congratulatory message to the United States of America on the occasion of the Independence Day, marked on July 4.
In a post published on the X platform, the head of state highlighted the constant support provided by the USA in the development of Moldova over the past three decades, emphasizing the strong partnership between the two countries.
'To our American friends — happy Independence Day! For over 30 years, the U.S. support has helped Moldova become stronger and more resilient — a stable partner in a vital region. Today, we celebrate our shared values and the friendship we have built,’’ wrote Maia Sandu.
The United States’ Independence Day is celebrated annually on July 4, commemorating the adoption of the Declaration of Independence in 1776.
