Moldovan president congratulates students with perfect scores at Baccalaureate exams
President Maia Sandu today congratulated the 78 young individuals who achieved a perfect score of 10 at the Baccalaureate exams and awarded them the President's Diploma of the Republic of Moldova—a symbolic distinction for academic excellence.
During the event, the head of state expressed gratitude to the parents and teachers who had contributed to the education of these remarkable young people.
“This year, we have more graduates with a perfect score of 10 than last year, and the Baccalaureate pass rate has increased by 3 percentage points. Our schools are heading in the right direction, and investments in education are paying off. However, the principal merit belongs goes to the students who understand that hard work, seriousness and sustained effort yield results,” declared President Maia Sandu.
The Moldovan president wished the young people much success in continuation and encouraged them to pursue their dreams with confidence. She also reminded them that Moldova needed their energy, courage and intelligence to develop and move forward.
