European Village // Multifunctional community center built in Clișova
Chisinau, July 12 /MOLDPRES/- Residents of Clișova village, Orhei district will benefit from the services of a multifunctional community center. The building was built from scratch through a project included in the European Village program. The investment amounts to 4.75 million lei.
Clișova mayor Vladimir Rotaru says that the project, supported by all the people in the village was absolutely necessary for the community.
"We needed a proper infrastructure for all institutions, where the villagers would benefit from quality services, including medical care, and at the same time the 15 employees of these public institutions would have improved working conditions. In the past, for various medical procedures, people had to go to Ciocâlteni or Orhei, which entailed spending time and money, but now they will be available on the spot", he said.
The center's construction cost 4.75 million lei. Of the total amount of the project, 3.82 million lei is financed by the Government through the National Fund for Local Regional Development, and 928 thousand lei is the contribution of the Local Public Administration.
According to the data of the National Office for Regional and Local Development, 82 cultural buildings and 11 community centers have been rehabilitated in the Republic of Moldova so far through the European Village and European Village Express programs.
