European Village: Three public institutions from Cotovskoe village energy optimized
Chisinau, Oct. 20 /MOLDPRES/- As part of the European Village Program, three public institutions from the village of Cotovskoe, Găgăuzia, were connected to modern photovoltaic systems.
According to the National Office for Regional and Local Development, the energy efficiency project of the kindergarten, gymnasium and town hall in the locality was possible thanks to the investment of 2.3 million lei (120 thousand euros), money allocated by the Moldovan government.
So far, as part of the European Village Program, photovoltaic stations have been built in five localities out of the eight selected, and out of the total of 497 approved projects, 228 have been completed.
