
Regional authorities to carry out infrastructure project in Balti
Chisinau, May 19 / MOLDPRES /- The North Regional Development Agency (ADR), Bălți city hall and Drumuri-Bălți company have signed a company contract within the infrastructure project Modernization of public infrastructure and educational institutions in the revitalization area of Bălți, financed from the National Fund for Regional and Local Development (FNDRL).
According to the contract, within six months, starting with May 2022, Drumuri-Balti company was committed to repair two streets in Balti, in accordance with the provisions of the technical project, the details of execution, as well as the norms, standards and technical prescriptions.
The value of the enterprise contract is 4.82 million lei (over 240 thousand euros), the contribution of Bălți City Hall being 10%.
This year, according to FNDRL sources, ADR Nord is implementing three new urban revitalization projects in the north of the country. One of them is the project “Modernization of public infrastructure and educational institutions in the revitalization area of Bălți municipality”, submitted by Bălți City Hall within the call for selection of regional development projects for 2021-2023. According to the North Regional Operational Program for 2022-2024, such projects aim to strengthen the role and functions of cities in increasing the competitiveness of the region.
