Moldovan actress celebrates birth anniversary
Chisinau, 9 February /MOLDPRES/- Theater and film actress Ala Menșicov, People's Artist, employee of Eugene Ionesco National Theater turned 60 today.
She was born on February 9, 1961 in the village of Chetriş, Falesti district. From an early age, she dreamed of becoming an actress.
After a successful career in theater and film, Ala Menșicov for some time laid the foundations of acting courses at the Eugene Ionesco theater. Groups are formed for children, teenagers, adults, for all those who want to discover themselves and find out unexpected things about themselves. Since 2013 she has been a lecturer at the Academy of Music, Theater and Fine Arts in Chisinau.
Ala Menshikov won several awards, including: Grand Prize for Best Female One-Man Show, Picasso's Women. Jacqueline (GALA STAR International Theater Festival, Bacău, Romania, 2006); Best Supporting Actress, Elizabeth I, after Paul Foster (UNITEM Awards Gala, 2006); Best Female Role (BITEI ’94 International Theater Festival); Second Prize for Agrișul by A.P. Chekhov etc.
Ala Menshikov was awarded the honorary titles Master of Art and People's Artist.
