Entrepreneur Expo organized for first time in Chisinau
Chisinau, Nov. 18 /MOLDPRES/- Over 70 small and medium enterprises from the Republic of Moldova present their products and services at the first edition of the Entrepreneur Expo exhibition, organized on 17-19 November by Moldexpo centre in collaboration with the Organization for Entrepreneurship Development (ODA), with the Germany's support.
The exhibition aims to bring together the business environment and state institutions to give a new impetus to the development of entrepreneurs in order to support and promote them.
"Through this event, we aim to contribute to the sustainability of small and medium domestic companies and to encourage the competitiveness of products and services. During the three days, the business environment will have the chance to learn about the entire range of entrepreneurial support programs supported by the state and development partners, starting from the initiation of a business to its internationalization", ODA head Dumitru Pîntea said at the opening of the event.
For his part, appointed Minister of Economy Dumitru Alaiba reiterated support for the business environment. "Entrepreneurs must know that they have full support from the state, in order to develop their businesses and use their ideas, thus helping the development of the country. And the state must defend the interests of entrepreneurs, help and encourage them, especially in this complicated period," he said.
Exhibition participants will be able to reimburse part of their participation expenses through the Fairs and Exhibitions Participation Subsidy Tool, managed by the ODA.
