
Grants worth over 29 million lei provided for dozens of entrepreneurs with support of Moldovan government, foreign partners in last September
A number of 88 companies received grants totaling over 29 million lei in last September, provided by the government and foreign partners. This support will stimulate investments worth about 54 million lei in the national economy.
Thus, the government contributed 18.4 million lei to provide grants for 76 companies. At the same time, 12 other companies benefit from grants totaling 10.6 million lei through the Local Producers' Competitiveness Growth and Value Chain Integration Programme, financed by the government and the World Bank Group, through the Organization for Entrepreneurship Development (ODA) and the World Bank’s Competitiveness Enhancement Project Implementation Unit.
Also, in September 2025, ODA disbursed non-reimbursable funding totaling 8.9 million lei for 59 companies, through the grants programmes it manages. Twenty businesses out this total benefited from European Union funds and 39 grants were provided from the state budget.
Additionally, within the 373 governmental programme, a number of 62 entrepreneurs got loans worth 179 million lei, meant for the implementation of investment projects totaling 338 million lei. For the loans granted through this programme, in last September, the state partially covered the loans’ interests, by paying compensations amounting to 8.7 million lei.
Also, through the Credit Guarantee Fund, 38 entrepreneurs benefited from guarantees totaling about 37.51 million lei, thereby facilitating their access to financing for business expansion worth 82.61 million lei.
