
VIDEO // Dutch defence minister on visit to Moldova; regional security situation on agenda of discussions
The regional security situation and its impact on Moldova’s development path have been the central topics of the discussions between Defence Minister Anatolie Nosatii and his counterpart from the Netherlands, Ruben Brekelmans, on an official visit to Chisinau.
The two officials also discussed the democratic reforms implemented and the country's European integration, as well as achievements in the context of the bilateral defense partnership.
Minister Anatolie Nosatii appreciated the evolution of the cooperation relations between the defense institutions of Moldova and the Netherlands, as well as the Dutch support for modernizing defense capabilities and enhancing institutional resilience to current security challenges.
The official also thanked for the support of our strategic goals within international organizations, the training opportunities for the National Army personnel in Dutch competent institutions and the expertise in the field of cyber defense.
According to the Defence Ministry, the sides agreed to deepen the dialogue by identifying new projects and initiatives aimed at strengthening defense capabilities and creating a stable environment for citizens.
