Moldovan products stars at first edition of Local Product national exhibition, held in Chișinău on 22-24 August

Local producers from all regions of the Republic of Moldova will be in the spotlight at the first edition of Local Product national exhibition to be held on 22-24 August 2025 at Moldexpo International Exhibition Center in Chișinău. The event is organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Moldova (CCI), in partnership with Moldexpo.

According to the CCI, the exhibition will gather hundreds of local entrepreneurs who will showcase traditional, artisanal, and modern products at regional thematic stands, fairs, and live demonstrations. The program also includes a cultural-gastronomic festival of Moldova's regions, aimed at highlighting the economic and cultural identity of the country.

An original element of the event is Most Creative Presentation of Local Product contest, which will take place on the symbolic Local Carpet podium. Each company will have three minutes to present their product in an original form, combining narrative storytelling, music, and live presentation. The competition will be judged by experts in branding, communication, and design, and the general public will be able to vote for their favorite presentations. Registrations are open by 15 August.

CCI head Sergiu Harea said 'the event promises to be a success', noting that over 90% of the available spots for exhibitors have already been booked.

'I warmly invite the public to visit this exhibition, support local producers, and rediscover Moldova through authentic products, tastes, and stories,' added Harea.

The event is an initiative launched in the context of the strategy to strengthen the national economy by encouraging domestic consumption and promoting the entrepreneurial potential of the Republic of Moldova. It aims to facilitate direct interaction between producers, consumers, authorities, the diaspora, and investors, contributing to the sustainable development of the local economic sector.
