Moldovan energy sector's priorities, reforms planed for 2025 discussed at Energy Ministry
The priorities of the energy sector in the context of the European integration process and the necessary measures to strengthen energy supply security have been were discussed by Minister of Energy Dorin Junghietu at a meeting with European Union’s Ambassador to Moldova Iwona Piórko, on an information visit to the ministry.
The officials reviewed the projects and reforms planned for 2025, included in the 2025 Reform Agenda, part of Moldova's Growth Plan. The focus was on modernizing the sector, diversifying energy sources and reducing the vulnerabilities of the national energy system.
The Ministry of Energy emphasized that the European Union stayed an essential partner of Moldova, providing constant support for accelerating reforms and implementing strategic projects. This support contributes to aligning with European standards and advancing the objective of integration into the EU's single energy market.
