
Chinese government to donate large batch of doses of Covid vaccine to Moldova
Chisinau, 26 March /MOLDPRES/- Acting Prime Minister Aureliu Ciocoi today met Ambassador of China to Chisinau Zhang Yinghong. The officials considered the current epidemiological situation in the country and globally, the government's communication and protocol department has reported.
As the pandemic situation is a worrying one worldwide, the dialogue focused on the necessary measures to be taken in the near future to prevent the spread of the virus in Moldova, one of the most effective methods is vaccination of people.
The Chinese Ambassador to Moldova spoke about his country's experience throughout the pandemic, as well as the measures in combating and limiting the spread of the SARS-Cov-2 virus. In this context, boosting the vaccination process of citizens has an important role.
Zhang Yinghong said that the Chinese government would donate an impressive batch of doses of anti-Covid vaccine.
Ciocoi appreciated the Moldovan-Chinese cooperation in all areas of mutual interest and thanked for the assistance provided continuously by the Chinese people to Moldovan citizens especially the last year.
