State Chancellery representatives took part in meetings of Interreg Europe Programme Committees
On 16–17 June 2026, representatives of the State Chancellery, which is the National Authority for Interreg programmes in the Republic of Moldova, participated in the 11th meeting of the Monitoring Committee of the Interreg Europe 2021–2027 Programme and in the 2nd meeting of the Programming Committee for the future Interreg Europe 2028–2034 Programme. The events took place in Copenhagen, the Kingdom of Denmark, and brought together representatives of partner states, the programme’s management structures, and the European Commission.
During the meeting of the Monitoring Committee, the main aspects related to the implementation of ongoing projects, the activities of the Policy Learning Platform, the financial situation of the programme, as well as its interim evaluation were examined.
As regards the future Programme, discussions within the Programming Committee focused on updates concerning the post‑2027 period presented by the European Commission, the designation of the Managing Authority, and the definition of the main features of the next programming period.
Interreg Europe is an interregional cooperation programme funded by the European Union, which supports the exchange of experience, mutual learning, and the improvement of public policies at regional and national level.
Currently, under the Interreg Europe 2021–2027 Programme, 19 beneficiaries from the Republic of Moldova are contracted, implementing projects with a total value of approximately 2.4 million euros.
