President of Romania Nicusor Dan is on his first official visit to Chisinau. He had bilateral discussions with the head of state Maia Sandu.
Following the meeting, the two officials will hold a joint press conference.
At the same time, the Romanian president will have meetings with Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu and Prime Minister Dorin Recean.
Also today, Nicusor Dan will lay flowers at the monument of Stephen the Great and Holy, a symbol of the historical connection between the two states.
