Moldova's president invites Moldovans from Germany to meetings
President Maia Sandu extends an open invitation to Moldovans residing in Germany to participate in a string of direct discussions, scheduled to take place on June 20–22, 2025, in three German cities.
"Dear Moldovans residing in Germany, I invite you to meet on June 20 in Frankfurt, on June 21 in Munich, and on June 22 in Stuttgart, in order to discuss how we can build a more united, safer Moldova, that is closer to Europe. We will also talk about the challenges faced by the Diaspora and the solutions we can find together," said the head of state in a message to citizens.
The meetings will give an opportunity for an open dialogue on the European path of Moldova, ongoing reforms and the vital role of the Diaspora in the country's development. Specific problems affecting Moldovan communities in Germany will also be addressed.
The Moldovan president emphasized that these meetings were part of her commitment to maintaining a constant dialogue with citizens from abroad and providing them with the opportunity to actively contribute to Moldova’s future.
