Moldova's wines, gastronomy, culture celebrated at Cercle Royal Gaulois in Brussels

Moldova has taken center stage at the prestigious Cercle Royal Gaulois in Brussels, where a gala evening was held, dedicated to its wines, gastronomy and national culture. The event brought together diplomats, European officials, business people, members of the Royal Circle and friends of Moldova in an atmosphere of refinement and cultural openness.

The legendary wines of Purcari Winery, authentic cuisine presented by a chef of Romanian origin and music from the Concertino quartet of the National Philharmonic provided guests with a complete experience that highlighted Moldova's traditions, tastes and artistic talent.

A special moment of the evening was the presence and speech of Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Infrastructure and Regional Development Vladimir Bolea, who delivered a message on Moldova's European commitment and the country's economic progress.

‘’Moldova is an open, dynamic country, determined to actively contribute to the European project. Through work, stability and vision, we are building a modern economy and strengthening partnerships with European Union member states,’’  Vladimir Bolea said in front of the guests.

The Moldovan official referred to the remarkable results achieved in infrastructure and regional development and the Moldovan government's determination to continue reforms and investments that bring the country closer to European standards.

The gala evening was organized at a time when the Moldovan-Belgian relations are clearly on the rise and the results of the September 28 parliamentary elections  confirm the majority support of citizens for Moldova's European choice.

The event was made possible by the support of the Cercle Royal Gaulois, the president Chevalier Philippe de Wouters d'Oplinter, the Belgian Wine Academy led by Jan De Maere and approved candidates for the title of honorary consuls of Moldova in the Kingdom of Belgium, Raymond Mekari and Serge Drijvers.
