Moldovan president after EPC Summit says European Union member states reconfirmed support for Moldova's EU accession process

President Maia Sandu, after participating in the European Political Community Summit, has said that Moldova received further confirmations of support on behalf of European Union member states in the accession process.

"The European Union member states have reconfirmed support for our EU accession process. Moldova was appreciated for choosing to stay on the side of peace, for the courage to resist and for the determination to defend democracy in the face of Kremlin's interference at our elections," emphasized the head of state.

According to Maia Sandu, the summit was a new opportunity to discuss with European leaders about strengthening bilateral relations.

"As these relationships strengthen, so does Moldova become stronger," she noted.
