Chisinau, 28 December /MOLDPRES/ - The Platform For Moldova speaks out for a temporary government and is ready to put forward a candidacy for a candidate for the office of acting prime minister. MPs of the platform made statements to this effect after today’s consultations with President Maia Sandu.

Lawmakers Violeta Ivanov, Marina Tauber and Sergiu Sirbu participated in the consultations.

At the end of the consultations, Violeta Ivanov said that the Platform For Moldova was prepared for snap elections. ‘’We understand what would it mean to go to snap polls now, when the situation is complicated. In this situation, we need a responsible government, which is to ensure the governance till the next elections,’’ Ivanov said. She avoided giving the name of eventual prime minister, noting that he would be announced in the terms established by law.

The last to come to the consultations with the Moldovan president were the MPs of the PRO Moldova platform. They also declared for the establishment of a transition government, due to lead the country till the snap elections.
