Chisinau city hall to offer over 2,500 subscriptions for guests of European Political Community Summit 2023

Chisinau, May 2. /MOLDPRES/-Chisinau city hall will grant over 2,500 free travel subscriptions for the guests of the 2023 European Political Community Summit, due on June 1, in Bulboaca, Anenii Noi district. Chisinau mayor Ion Ceban made the statement today.

According to the mayor, the subscriptions will be valid for a few days and will be sent to the Government by May 20 to be distributed to the beneficiaries.

"By the time they get to the event, the people will be in the capital, that's why we decided to grant the subscriptions. At the same time, they will include electronic addresses where information on transport routes and tourist opportunities in the capital can be accessed in order to be able to visit them", said Ion Ceban.

The organization of the summit in the Republic of Moldova was a decision of the meeting of the European Political Community in Prague in October 2022. About 50 heads of state and government from Europe and officials of the European Union are expected at the event on June 1. Summit participants will discuss joint efforts for peace, defense of democracy, strengthening of energy interconnection and global security.
