
Customs Service of Moldova collects over 716 million lei in last week
The Customs Service in the last week collected over 716.7 million lei for the state budget. The funds collected are directly transferred into the state budget and redistributed for salaries, infrastructure development and social projects.
On this period, individuals brought in goods customs value of which exceeded the non-taxable limit, resulting in payments of about 28.8 million lei, which accounts for 4 per cent of the total amount.
At the same time, 12,416 customs declarations were processed and the flow of transport vehicles amounted to 77,028 crossings. The most transited customs posts stay Leuseni and Sculeni, with 16,941 and 14,286 crossings, respectively.
Since the beginning of the 2025 year, the Customs Service has collected about 31.1 billion lei for the state budget.
