Prime Minister leads Moldovan delegation to Brussels for ninth RM-EU Association Council meeting
Prime Minister Dorin Recean will pay a visit to Brussels on June 3-4 for the ninth meeting of Moldova - European Union Association Council.
The meeting will review the progress made by the Republic of Moldova on its path to joining the European Union and the achievements recorded since the last Association Council meeting.
Discussions will focus on the reform agenda, with an emphasis on judicial reform, fighting corruption, strengthening democracy, and security. Economic cooperation, particularly in the energy sector, will also be analyzed.
Recean will hold meetings with several European commissioners and participate in a public event on the importance of Moldova’s Growth Plan to stimulate the economy and advance in the European integration process.
The delegation traveling to Brussels also includes Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration Cristina Gherasimov, Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Oleg Serebrian, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Economic Development and Digitalization Doina Nistor, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Infrastructure and Regional Development Vladimir Bolea, Minister of Justice Veronica Mihailov-Moraru, Minister of Energy Dorin Junghietu and Minister of Environment Sergiu Lazarencu.
