New opportunities for exporting companies: China invites Moldova to international fairs

Moldova and China are exploring new opportunities to deepen and expand economic and trade cooperation. In this context, China will invite Moldova to participate in a series of international fairs to help local companies promote their products in international markets and expand their exports.

Gao Fengli, a counselor at the Chinese Embassy in Chisinau said that among the events Moldova will be invited to are Big Market for All: Export to China, Guangdong Import and Export Fair, China International Import Expo and Global Trade in Services Fair.

"In the economic and trade cooperation, based on the initiation of the import process of sunflower seed flour and grapes from Moldova, and considering the possibility of further importing grape seeds and Moldovan cherries, the Chinese side will actively invite Moldova to participate in the Big Market for All: Export to China event, as well as fairs like the Guangdong Import and Export Fair, China International Import Expo, and the Global Trade in Services Fair," said Gao Fengli.

According to the official, these platforms will promote the export of an increasing number of quality Moldovan products and services to China, contributing to balancing bilateral trade.

At the same time, Gao Fengli emphasized that China will encourage Chinese companies to invest in infrastructure projects in Moldova, promote the rapid implementation of agreements on electric vehicle charging stations and electric taxis between Chinese and Moldovan companies, thus expanding the space for cooperation in green development.

Furthermore, China is willing to discuss with the Moldovan side the launch of a China-Europe train route through Moldova, significantly improving the country's logistics conditions. Moreover, the Chinese side highlighted that it will explore the possibility of including Moldova on the list of tourist destination countries.

Opportunities for economic development between Moldova and the People's Republic of China were recently analyzed by Vice Prime Minister Eugeniu Osmochescu, the Minister of Economic Development and Digitization, with the Chinese ambassador, Dong Zhihua. Officials discussed the trade relations between the two countries and potential new development opportunities.
