About 3,294 thousand people registered in State Register of Voters, CEC says
Chisinau, 3 Jan. /MOLDPRES/- The total number of voters registered in the State Register of Voters on 3 January 2023 is 3,294,050.
According to the Central Electoral Commission, of the total number of persons registered in the State Register of Voters, 2,768,177 citizens with the right to vote are assigned to level II administrative-territorial units.
The difference includes people who hold the citizenship of the Republic of Moldova, but do not have a home registration or residence, including those who have gone abroad with authorization (257, 094 people) and citizens with the right to vote with their domicile registered in the administrative-territorial units to the left of the Dniester, temporarily outside the sovereign control of the constitutional authorities of the Republic of Moldova (268,779 people).
