Moldovan authorities confirm: Moldova's Ambassador to Russia summoned at Russian Foreign Affairs Ministry
Chisinau, 26 June /MOLDPRES/ - The Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry (MAEIE) has confirmed that Moldova’s Ambassador to Russia Lilian Darii was summoned at Russia’s Foreign Affairs Ministry (MAE).
The information was initially published in the Russian media today at noon.
For the time being, the reasons for the Moldovan ambassador’s summoning are unknown.
The press service of MAEIE noted that the institution would subsequently come up with details on this subject.
Last week, Russia’s Ambassador to Moldova Oleg Vasnetsov was summoned at the Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry, in order to be asked for explanations on recent statements by Russia’s representative in Kherson, through which Moldova was threatened.
