155 young people to do internships in public institutions

A total of 155 young people will do internships in public institutions as part of a program organized by the Government of the Republic of Moldova in partnership with the European Union.

For several months, the young people will have the opportunity to work alongside public officials, contributing to the modernization of the administration and the creation of more efficient public services for the benefit of citizens.

They were welcomed by Prime Minister Dorin Recean, who mentioned that through this initiative, the authorities aim to prepare a generation of trained, energetic, and motivated young leaders to modernize and bolster the state in our path towards joining the European Union.

“Thus, we professionalize public administration and prepare a generation of trained, energetic, and motivated young leaders to modernize and strengthen the state in our path towards joining the European Union. I am convinced that only together can we build a European state with strong and professional institutions,” said Recean.

The internship program in public institutions was launched by the Government and the European Union Delegation. It is intended for young people aged between 18 and 29, whether they are students or graduates. Participants will be able to work in important state institutions such as the Government, Parliament, Presidency, ministries and agencies. The internships last between two and six months, are paid, and those who complete with an "excellent" rating can be employed without competition in public positions.
