Moldovan wine, ambassador of culture in Switzerland; hundreds of Moldovans, locals brought together by Our Roots Swiss association

Moldovan wine has served as the ambassador uniting people and cultures at the event organized by the Our Roots Swiss Association. With the title, Where Moldovan wine is poured, a nation gathers, hundreds of compatriots and locals enjoyed an evening filled with warmth and joy.

Winemakers from Moldova offered selected wines, while children from the 'Gugută' School of Switzerland brought emotion through songs and poems, reminding of the importance of preserving the Romanian language and culture in the Diaspora.

The event continued with performances by artists Adriana Ochisanu and Valeria Popusoi, moderated by Cristina Gheiceanu. Present at the event, the Ambassador of Moldova to Switzerland Vladimir Cuc and Consul Petru Alexei conveyed messages of appreciation and support for the community and organizers.

The celebration is part of the Government's Diaspora Engagement Hub grants programme, which supports cultural and educational activities in the Diaspora, with partial financial support on behalf of Moldova’s government.
