PHOTO GALLERY // Bookfest Chisinau starts; hundreds of titles, dozens of book launches

The International Book Fair Bookfest Chisinau has been launched at the Mediacor Center, where hundreds of volumes await their buyers.

During the fair, book enthusiasts will have the opportunity to purchase their favorite titles at low prices.

Bookfest Chisinau will be open from September 3 to 7.

Admission is free, and everyone is welcome to visit the Mediacor Center at USM (Alexei Mateevici Street 60) between 10:00 and 20:00 on all five days of the Book Fair.

The 2025 edition of Bookfest is organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Moldova, in partnership with the Moldova State University, the National Library of Moldova, the Union of Publishers of Moldova and the Association of Publishers of Romania. Funded by the Department for Relations with Moldova of the Romanian government, it takes place under the High Patronage of the President of Romania Nicusor-Daniel Dan and President of  Moldova Maia Sandu and benefits from the partnership of the Ministry of Culture of Romania and the Ministry of Culture of Moldova.
