Chisinau today hosted the EU–Moldova Investment Conference, a large-scale event dedicated to strengthening the economic partnership between Moldova and the European Union.

According to the government, during the conference, investments totaling 1 billion euros were announced, directed toward economic development projects, infrastructure and the strengthening of strategic sectors.

The event was opened by President Maia Sandu, European Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos Prime Minister Alexandru Munteanu, who emphasized the importance of accelerating reforms and European economic integration.

The conference brought together officials, investors, representatives of international financial institutions and the business community and was presented as an essential platform for attracting capital and developing new economic partnerships.
