Enhanced traffic at Leuseni, Sculeni border crossing points of Moldova; travelers urged to choose alternative customs posts
The Customs Service announces increased traffic of travelers and vehicles at the Leuseni and Sculeni border customs posts. The outbound direction from the country is particularly crowded.
According to the customs authority, additional lanes have been opened and the REVERS procedure has been applied to streamline traffic. It is also important, in order to reduce waiting times, that the flow of travelers and vehicles be distributed to other border customs posts as well.
“Travelers are encouraged to cross the border through the customs posts of Costesti, Leova or Cahul. Choosing an alternative customs post helps balance the traffic flow and reduce waiting times for all road users,” the Customs Service said.
The customs authority is monitoring the situation and will provide updated information on cross-border traffic.
