Icy roads and sidewalks have turned getting around into a real danger, and the consequences are clearly felt in medical facilities. The Emergency Admissions Unit of the Institute of Emergency Medicine has recorded a large number of patients, most of them presenting with injuries caused by falls or accidents on the extremely slippery roadway. Dozens of people are in the waiting room, and the number of emergency visits continues to rise.

Emergency teams have been reinforced, and doctors and nurses are making sustained efforts to provide the necessary care to all patients in the shortest possible time.
