Ungheni Railway Station mentioned in guide about best railway routes in Europe
Chisinau, 22 Jan. /MOLDPRES/- Ungheni International Station was mentioned by the world's largest travel guide company, Lonely Planet, in an article about the best railway routes in Europe in 2023, which also shows the resumption, after a break of 24 years, of the Chisinau - Kyiv route.
The article reports "the route includes a stop at the Ungheni railway station in the west of the Republic of Moldova, from where the connection can be made to Iași, Romania, a city whose airport is a strategic point for Ukrainians who want to go to Europe".
