
CEC: Over 80 national, international observers accredited to monitor general local elections
Chisinau, 15 Sep. /MOLDPRES/- Since the beginning of the electoral period, more than 80 national and international observers have been accredited by the Central Electoral Commission (CEC) to monitor the general local elections on November 5.
According to the CEC, of the total number of observers, 75 are national - from the Promo-LEX Public Association and 7 - international from the Czech Republic, Georgia and Lithuania.
The deadline for submitting requests for accreditation as an observer is 7 days until the day of the elections, October 28.
