Chisinau, 20 March /MOLDPRES/ - The political parties are obliged to submit reports on the financial management for 2022 till 31 March this year.

According to the Central Electoral Commission (CEC), the reporting will be carried out both in electronic form, through SSI Financial Control and on paper.

At the same time, the report on the financial management is signed by the treasurer of the political party and the formation’s head. If the latter hold the interim duties, the information is to be confirmed by the Public Services Agency (ASP). Otherwise, the reports presented will not be accepted.

CEC warned that the non-submission of the report on financial management in the term and format established under the law, including the presentation of incomplete data, represents infringement of the legal provisions and is liable to contraventional punishment.

So far, 15 out of those 57 political parties have submitted financial reports to CEC.
