
Moldovan authorities urge citizens to avoid any travel to Israel
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Moldova has issued a travel alert - Avoid any travel - for the State of Israel, in the context of the security situation in the Middle East. Additionally, a Crisis Cell has been activated.
According to the MFA, Moldovan citizens already on Israeli territory are urged to exercise maximum caution and strictly follow the authorities' instructions.
Airports in Israel, including Ben Gurion have temporarily suspended operations. Furthermore, seaports and land border crossings between Israel and Egypt and Jordan are closed or blocked.
The MFA has issued urgent recommendations for Moldovan citizens in Israel: to strictly adhere to the instructions of local authorities; to stay near air raid shelters; to avoid non-essential travel, especially in the north and south of the country; to avoid crowded areas, public transport, and shopping centers; to constantly consult the official information from the Embassy of the Republic of Moldova in Tel Aviv and Israeli authorities.

The MFA announces that it continuously monitors developments in the region and remains prepared to support affected Moldovan citizens.
