ANI: Asset and personal interest declarations must be submitted by March 31

Persons required to declare their assets and personal interests have 15 more days to submit their annual declarations, with the deadline set for March 31.

According to the National Integrity Authority (ANI), the declarations are submitted exclusively in electronic format, through the service available on ANI’s official website. The document must be electronically signed using the declarant’s electronic signature.

Asset and personal interest declarations are submitted annually by certain categories of officials and public dignitaries, in order to ensure transparency and prevent conflicts of interest. The procedure is regulated by the legislation on declaring assets and personal interests, and failure to meet the deadline may result in sanctions in accordance with the applicable legal framework.
