Moldovan Environment Ministry announces temporary water supply shutdown in more districts from northern region

The Environment Ministry has announced that, given the continued discharge of polluting substances into the Dniester River, safety measures were required to protect public health. In the coming hours, the water supply will be temporarily suspended in the locality of Naslavcea and in the districts of Soroca, Balti, Floresti, and Sangerei.

According to the cited source, citizens are advised to store water for urgent needs and to follow official channels for updates regarding the resumption of service.

The competent authorities say that they would come up with additional details as the situation evolves.
