Crisis Cell: Moldovan citizens in Middle East urged to check flight status with airlines

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) urges Moldovan citizens in the Middle East to constantly check the status of their flights with airline operators. It is also important that they follow the instructions of local authorities and comply with imposed security measures.

In this context, citizens who are in, or intend to travel to, countries in the region are warned to avoid areas where security incidents are taking place or large public gatherings are being held. Likewise, it is important that they obtain information from official sources about developments in the area where they are located and maintain contact with the diplomatic missions of the Republic of Moldova in the region.

Additionally, citizens of the Republic of Moldova are encouraged to send their contact details to the diplomatic missions so they can be reached quickly in case of emergency situations. The full list of diplomatic missions of the Republic of Moldova and their contact details can be found here: https://mfa.gov.md/ro/misiuni.

The MFA will continue to monitor developments in the region and will inform the public in the event of any new relevant developments.
