Italian Armed Forces Day marked in Chisinau with symbolic event

Italian Armed Forces Day has been was marked in Chisinau with a symbolic event. Minister of Defense Anatolie Nosatii and Ambassador of Italy to Moldova, H.E. Giuseppe Maria Perricone laid flowers at the Mourning Mother Monument.

The event was an opportunity to express gratitude and reaffirm the strong cooperation relationships between the two defense institutions.

“From joint participation in international missions to training activities and assistance projects, our partnership has evolved over time, being a clear testament to friendship and a strong commitment to European values, peace and regional stability,” said Minister Nosatii.

Moldova and Italy have developed a constant and complex cooperation in defense and security over the years. Bilateral relations in this field have been strengthened since 2006, with the signing of a cooperation agreement between the two countries, which laid the foundation for a strategic partnership in training, logistical support, and experience exchange between defense institutions.
