The IGP leadership appreciated the partnership with the German Federal Police, which represents an exemplary institutional collaboration, based on trust, professionalism and shared goals.

“Through similar projects, supported by the German Federal Government, we jointly contribute to the modernization and digitalization of the National Police, strengthening our country's public and cyber security. I thank the German partners for this gesture of solidarity and for their constant support of the IGP's professionalization process. This initiative represents a concrete step towards a safer, more modern police aligned with European standards,” said Viorel Cernauteanu.

For his part, German Ambassador to Moldova Hubert Knirsch said that his country stayed a reliable partner of Moldova and strongly supported the transformation of key institutions, such as the National Police.

“It is impressive to see how this assistance translates into real results, impacting the citizens’ safety and quality of life,” said Hubert Knirsch.
