Cahul, Orhei to benefit from European grants for cultural development
Chisinau, 15 November /MOLDPRES/- Two grants worth up to 30,000 euros each were offered for cultural development of Cahul and Orhei cities under the EU4Culture Program, the European Union Delegation to the Republic of Moldova has reported.
According to the call for grant applications launched in May 2021, by the EU4Culture program, the two grants were offered for the development of the Cultural Development Strategy of each beneficiary city.
"The EU4Culture program aims to support cities in developing and implementing Local Cultural Development Strategies, following the approach of European Capitals of Culture. This support will contribute to the transformation of culture into a catalyst for social growth and development ", the EU Delegation to Chisinau said.
