Regional project to provide 14 localities in Ialoveni district with quality water
Chisinau, Oct. 24 /MOLDPRES/- Fourteen localities in Ialoveni district will have access to main aqueduct, providing quality water to over 25 thousand inhabitants. It is about the regional project Aqueduct for Bardar, Rusestii Noi (stage II) and sewerage networks for Ialoveni.
According to the Regional Development Agency (ADR) Centre, yesterday, following discussions with the representatives of the Ialoveni District Council, which is the applicant for the regional project, it was found that the works carried out in Stage II of the project were preserved, because Stage I was not completed.
"The activities carried out within this project are part of a wider strategic plan of the Ialoveni district to provide the population with quality drinking water. The project foresees a total length of the newly built main aqueduct of approximately 45 kilometers, which will provide quality water for over 25,000 inhabitants from 14 localities of the Ialoveni district", indicates ADR Centre.
The total cost of the project exceeded 15 million lei (750 thousand euros) and was covered from the National Regional Development Fund, being co-financed by the Slovak Government through the SlovakAid Program.
