
Over 700 companies received energy compensation
Over 57.5 million lei was granted to entrepreneurs in the Republic of Moldova in January - May 2025 to compensate for electricity bills.
According to the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization, the support was provided to 711 unique beneficiaries through the Compensation Program launched by the Government, with the EU support.
In total, during the period, over 1,700 applications were approved by the MDED and the Organization for Entrepreneurship Development.
“With the support of the European Union, we help businesses reduce costs, remain competitive, and move forward with confidence. Moldova can succeed because when we work together, we can overcome any obstacle,” Deputy Prime Minister Doina Nistor said.
The program remains active throughout 2025, and entrepreneurs can apply for compensation simply and quickly, 100% online, through EVO app or MCabinet platform.
The energy compensation program was launched by the Government in January 2025 and is funded with the support of the European Union.
