
Over 15 million lei disbursed in May to entrepreneurs for electricity costs compensation
The Organization for Entrepreneurship Development (ODA) disbursed 15.1 million lei in May for compensating electricity costs, based on 565 requests submitted by companies from the manufacturing sector.
The support provided by the Government reduces the impact of energy costs on businesses. Energy compensations for entrepreneurs will be provided throughout the current year. Applications can be submitted online, simply and quickly, via the EVO app or through the MCabinet platform, in Compensations module.
Additionally, in May, 126 companies received non-refundable financing totaling 26.31 million lei through programs managed by ODA. Out of the total, 35 businesses benefited from external funds, while 91 grants were awarded from the state budget.
Moreover, another 80 companies were approved for funding, with total support of 22.3 million lei, generating estimated investments of 42.1 million lei in the national economy.
Through the Credit Guarantee Fund, 37 entrepreneurs benefited from guarantees totaling approximately 50 million lei, thus facilitating their access to bank financing for business expansion.
Also, in May, under the Governmental Program 373, a total of 42 entrepreneurs obtained loans amounting to 286 million lei for investment projects of 418 million lei. The state partially compensated the interests of these loans by allocating the sum of 5.4 million lei.
Furthermore, through FACEM Sustainable Investments BGK two entrepreneurs accessed loans worth 985 thousand lei for investment projects amounting to 1.538 million lei, aimed at improving the energy efficiency of companies.
