President conveys congratulatory message to Jewish community in country celebrating Hanukkah

The Presidency of the Republic of Moldova

President Maia Sandu congratulated the Jewish community in the Republic of Moldova, which starting today and for the next eight days celebrates Hanukkah – a symbol of light and hope.

“This period reminds us of the importance of solidarity, mutual respect, and our common responsibility to protect peace, freedom, and human dignity. May the light of Hanukkah bring peace, confidence and unity in everyone's homes. Hag Hanukkah Sameach!", emphasized Maia Sandu in her congratulatory message.
