Saturday, 1 June
The Chisinau city hall presents a schedule of actions dedicated to the International Children’s Day – 1 June 2019.
The inauguration of a multifunctional complex from the Rose Valley park, which includes a skate-park, mini-football, volley ball, badminton fields and a ground for general physical training for persons with limited mobility. Specialized associations are to organize diverse sports and entertaining activities: football, basketball, volley ball, badminton competitions, as well as performances: of break-dance, hip-hop and trial and the event is to end with a show with colours and lights. Also, within the same event, the team of the Moldovan capital’s city hall and the one of the councilors of the Chisinau municipal council are to play a friendly football match. The event is held in the Rose Valley park, at 11:00.

The aerophone orchestra of the Valery Ploleakov Arts School gives a recital on the square of the Birth of God Metropolitan Cathedral at 11:00-11:30.

The World of Gifted Children – an entertainment programme with children and for children: painting exhibitions, painting on water, drawing on asphalt, face painting, handmade exhibitions, artistic performances with the participation of children from  municipal arts schools, artistic bands of children from Chisinau, karaoke contests, discos, trivia shows, tombolas folk dance, modern dance, folk music, academic music and other entertainment moments. Ambassador of Romania to Moldova Daniel Ionita participates in a ceremony on commemoration of the members of the crew of helicopter of the Romanian Mobile Emergency Service for Resuscitation and Extrication (SMURD), killed in the line of duty in an air crash on 2 June 2016, in the Haragis village, southern Cantemir district, at the monument set in the memory of the SMURD crew, at 12:00.
