Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign Affairs Minister Mihai Popsoi today had a meeting with Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs of Albania Ferit Hoxha. The meeting took place on the margins of the Delphi Economic Forum, held in Greece.

The discussions focused on the European path of Moldova and Albania, the progress achieved and the common challenges in the process of accession to the European Union.

“It is important to maintain the pace of reforms and to capitalize on the support provided by our European partners, in order to advance in the process of accession to the European Union. We agreed to boost our bilateral dialogue and to exchange best practices on our way toward the great European family,” said Mihai Popsoi.

The two officials highlighted the potential for developing bilateral relations, including in the tourism sector. The ministers also stressed the need to strengthen cooperation in the fields of security and the fight against disinformation.

Deputy Prime Minister Mihai Popsoi on April 23-25 takes part in the 11th edition of the Delphi Economic Forum, held in Greece. The event brings together political leaders, European and international decision-makers, representatives of the business community, as well as experts in such areas as security, economy and public policy.
