Over 6,600 tons of fuel imported into Moldova in recent days
Over five thousand tons of diesel and almost 1,600 tons of gasoline were imported into the Republic of Moldova on April 24 - 26.
According to the Ministry of Energy, as of April 26, fuel stocks amounted to 19 days of consumption for gasoline and liquefied gas, and 12 days for diesel.
Car owners are further encouraged by the authorities to use petroleum products rationally and to avoid purchases that are not strictly necessary.
The Parliament of the Republic of Moldova has declared a state of emergency in the energy sector for a period of 60 days, starting on 25 March 2026.
